QRC Alumnus Mr. Dennis Desmond Lorde III is a young professional with a combination of technical, administrative, middle management and customer service experience. He has proven proficiency in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, Customer Service Management and developing small to medium entrepreneurs.
Dennis is the holder of an Associate Degree in Labour Studies from the Cipriani College of Labour and Cooperative Studies and is completing a Master of Business Administration in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Bedfordshire. Notwithstanding his scholastic pursuits he has demonstrated a penchant for youth advocacy, mentorship and volunteerism through his work in a number of NGOs, CBOs and through service with numerous government agencies.
He has served with distinction as an Officer in the Trinidad and Tobago Cadet Force where he has functioned in many senior staff command roles notably, Force Assistant Adjutant, Adjutant of the First Infantry Battalion and Commanding Officer of the Success Laventille Cadet Unit.
In his civilian capacity Dennis has engrossed himself in the service of the Arouca and Environs Community where he has served in the offices of Youth Officer, Public Relations Officer and Secretary of the Arouca Community Council and in similar roles at the Arouca Carnival Committee. He has also served in a myriad of capacities on the Arouca/Maloney Youth League where notably he has functioned as Public Relations Officer, Vice Chairman and now Chairman.
In his professional capacity he serves as a senior advisor to the Chairman and Local Economic Development Officer of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation and has been appointed to the Disciplinary Committee of one of our Nation’s leading governmental bodies.
