Reverend Tenia who was recently appointed Assistant Curate at All Saints Anglican Church does not think “being a full-time priest is better in anyway than any other form of living out one’s vocation.

Reverend Tenia, completed a two year Associate Degree in Education at a community College in Virginia USA, which enabled her to move on to the long-desired degree in psychology at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

After seeking spiritual guidance she returned to the USA and began a degree in Social Work but changed to a Master’s in Divinity at the Virginia Theological Seminary. In her final year the call to the priesthood became clear, and she was ordained Deacon by Bishop Calvin Bess at the chapel of the Virginia Seminary on May 14, 2005.
